SDLC Partners Inc. – Senior Mainframe Engineer
Performed research, analysis, programming, testing, debugging and documentation on the Highmark Enrollment Communications System. Received system issues and performed analysis and programming to repair these system issues. The work occurred in a mainframe environment utilizing JCL, COBOL, and SQL within a DB2 environment.
BNY Mellon – Mainframe Development Engineer
Performed as a member of the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae) team. Performed research, analysis, programming, testing, debugging and documentation. Worked on major upgrades to edit, issue and report on newly issued securities pools of secondary mortgage loans. This work included programming exclusively in a mainframe environment utilizing JCL, COBOL and SQL within VSAM and DB2 environments. Also, ran daily testing cycles for the Ginnie Mae Business Operations team in their UAT environment to perform final testing before upgrade implementations. Development projects were performed in both Waterfall and Agile Development Life Cycle.
PNC Corporation – Software Engineer
Performed as a member of the Power 1 Risk Technology Team. Performed research, analysis, programming, testing, debugging, documentation and maintenance. Wrote technical specifications, coded COBOL programs, unit and system tested, and debugged issues for quarterly software releases. Performed research for user related issues and recommended and implemented software changes based on user needs. Provided supervision and training to new hires and contractors. Created file transfers and provided file transfer support to down stream applications utilizing FTP and NDM. Also performed testing for Watchlist Management System utilizing SQL and Cognos in an Oracle environment. Created scripts to add/maintain/delete users from Oracle Identify Manager (OIM).
Performed as a member of the general Run-The-Bank (RTB) mainframe programming team for various applications on an as-needed basis. On this team I worked on projects for a variety of teams such as Large Cash Reporting (LCR), Patriot Act Reporting (PAT), Wire Transfers (WTS).
Trained in and created ETL (Extract, Transfer and Load) workflows using Informatica for the Power 1 application. These workflows transferred data from the mainframe to an Oracle database.
Projects were performed in both a Waterfall and Agile Development Life Cycle. Work was performed in a CICS Environment primarily utilizing COBOL, VSAM, Easytrieve Plus, JCL and IBM Utilities. Also, some work performed in a DB2 environment utilizing SQL.
Fiserv Corporation – Systems Engineer
Performed as a member of the Bank of Oklahoma Custom Programming Team which was responsible for analysis, programming, testing, documentation and maintenance of 22 separate applications for a single outsourcing client.
Performed as a member of the Deposits Development Programming Team. Team was responsible for 16 separate applications. Duties include analysis, programming, testing, creating documentation and performing maintenance for all of our Business Unit’s clients. Work performed in OS/390 – ZOS/CICS utilizing COBOL, JCL, File-Aid, VSAM and Easytrieve Plus in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Projects were performed in using a Waterfall Development Life Cycle.
Eclipsys Corporation – Systems Engineer
Responsible for analysis, programming, testing and maintenance of the St. Clair Hospital Case History and TSI Decision Support systems. All work performed in an IBM DOS/VSE environment utilizing COBOL, Easytrieve Plus and M204 User Language.
Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation (AHERF) – Programmer/Analyst
Analyzed, programmed, tested and maintained the GEAC Financial System. Subsystems included Capital Projects, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Payroll. All work performed in an IBM/MVS environment utilizing COBOL, Easytrieve Plus and JCL.
Pittsburgh Business Consultants – Programming Consultant
Provided production based support in on-line and batch environments for customer based ATM package of a bank. Duties included analysis, reporting, data manipulation and tape creation. All work performed in an IBM OS/MVS environment utilizing COBOL, Easytrieve Plus, File-Aid and JCL.
Performed analysis, programming and documentation of the title tracking, appraisal and closing management systems of a lending service company. All tasks were performed while learning to use the VAX/VMS operating system utilizing COBOL and DCL.
Created a customer tracking system for the market consulting division of a major insurance company. System included a file conversion process, data analysis and a full series of files and reports. All work performed in an IBM OS/MVS environment utilizing Easytrieve Plus and JCL.

Programmed data conversion and financial reports for GEAC payroll system using Easytrieve Plus and JCL. All work performed in an IBM OS/MVS environment.
Omega Systems – Programming Consultant
Developed, maintained and documented software for various clients. Systems included General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Retiree Payroll.
American Management Systems – Programmer/Analyst
Developed, maintained and documented various subsystems of AMS Central Financial System. Subsystems included General Ledger, Budget and Accounts Payable. Other duties included training end users, managed a Novell 386 local area network with over 30 end users and various system administration functions.
