Registered Nurse with Masters in Nursing Leadership, and 25 years’ experience in the operating room, with 15 of those years in CVOR. Managed 8-12 personnel teams in operating rooms ranging from 8- 40 operating rooms for all spectrums of services. CVOR to veterans. Anticipated needed equipment for CVOR cases and contacted

vendor representatives for cases. Lead 8 team members and mentored team

members to circulate and scrub the CVOR service. Responsible for team evaluations.

Scrubbed and circulated cases include general on and off pump CABG, CABG valve

with bentyl procedure, Tricuspid, mitral and aortic valve replacement.

Ascending/descending aortic aneurysm, TAVR, watchman procedure,

CME, thorascopy, thoracotomy, robotic thorascopy, cryo ablation, maze, laser lead

extraction and insertion, and atrial appendage ligation. Preceptor for new staff. Call

coverage 25 days a month.

Level 1 Trauma Center 18 room operating room. Preceptor for new, experienced

staff, and nursing students. Scrubbed and circulated general and on and off pump

CABG, TAVR, aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valves, maze, appendage ligation, cryo

ablation, CME along with endoscopic triple AAA hybrid cases. Organ harvest

recovery and kidney transplants. Covered 25 days of open-heart call.

Baylor Heart Hospital of Denton- 08/08/2013-09/10/2014

Lead CVOR team of 8 in an 8-room operating room. Coordinated new opening

cardiovascular facility for CVOR procedures. Ordered supplies equipment,

instruments, for daily use and facilitated or room layout. CVOR coordinator for

service. Preceptor for new staff. Scrubbed and circulated open heart, cryo ablation,

CME, maze, endovascular triple. AAA procedures. Covered 15 days of call per month.

Baylor Reward Staffing- 04/08/13-08/03/2013

Staffed 25-40 room operating room areas. Scrubbed and circulated cardiovascular

services. Cases included on/off pump CABG, TAVR, aortic, mitral, and vascular

procedures. Also scrubbed circulated all other services to fill staffing needs. No call

position.

Medical City Denton-06/06/2005-01-15/2013

Lead team of 8 in a 12-room operating room as CVOR coordinator. Preceptor and

mentor for new staff. Circulated and scrubbed on/off pump CABG as well as aortic,

mitral and tricuspid valves, ring repair, cryo ablation, robotic assisted mid-CABG,

maze ablation, atrial appendage ligation, CME, thoracotomy, thorascopy,

ascending/descending thoracic aneurysm. Circulated and scrubbed general,

gyn,ortho, neuro spine, cysto, and plastics. Covered CVOR call and general call when

needs arose.
