(Tesla is Physio’s newest 4G/Wi-Fi and touch input-enabled medical monitor/defibrillator in development.) Responsibilities include setting up oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, function generators, logic probes, and test fixtures together with the unit-under-test for testing and data/signal acquisition through LabVIEW. According to procedures, perform hardware tests to evaluate functionality. The tests are performed inside a Thermatron atmospheric chamber with variable temperatures and humidity to simulate real world conditions. The test results are clearly and accurately compiled and compared against predetermined limits to verify and validate design specifications. After each testing/validation cycle, participate in the evaluation to share observations to help improving the product and design process. Perform analysis requiring scientific knowledge and laboratory techniques to build and test mechanical models and electrical circuits and assemblies.
