Job Duties:

Responsible for operating and maintaining all trucks and equipment assigned to me daily. While most of the emphasis on tree work (all phases of pruning, bracing, planting and removals, and all related vehicle and equipment maintenance) is the majority of my work, it’s not limited to that. I've done a lot of work with our paving program as well (running paving machines and hot box/pothole, finish raking). Also, I’m experienced in all phases of snow removal and salt/sanding (we constantly monitor and remove all snow on almost all dead ends in town) and plowing. I have experience running and maintaining street sweepers, Vac-All trucks and tractors/payloaders/backhoe. I have some experience in mason work (brick/cobblestone/footings) and street sign installation and maintenance. I have done light carpentry work also. I have worked in Mechanics shop servicing Police fleet vehicles and DPW vehicles. In addition to those duties, I would be considered an asset on any crew I am assigned to. There is very little that I haven’t done that would be considered relevant to a Public Works operation of any kind. Resident interaction plays a large role in my day to day tasks. I have also assumed the role of leader on most of the crews I'm on. I’m also the Union President for my unit, responsible for all related duties and contract negotiating.

Job Duties:

Responsible for operating and maintaining all trucks and equipment. A lot of my time is spent doing estimates (time management and man hours calculations on the spot are necessary), operating equipment (stump grinder, bucket truck, crane truck, bobcat) the rest of my time is doing ground work. I have also run the entire crew at times.

King Kullen Meat Department (2006-present) Title: Part Time

Job Duties:

Responsible for making orders (the only part timer in the company with access to ordering system), cutting meat, organizing and rotation of stock is my main responsibility. Some clean up are duties are involved too.
