Worked on a drilling project in West Africa in the country of Guinea in the Simandou Mountains at a camp called
Canga : approximately 450 miles east of Conakry. Operated a KWL 700 top head drive air rotary Drill using the
reverse air drilling method with angle package using a center return down hole hammer to achieve formation samples to assay for Iron ore reserves. The owner /operator of this mining expedition was Rio Tinto mining Company as S.B.D. had all rotary drilling contracts. Reference; Bob Roche- Drilling Supervisor for Rio Tinto operations at the time.
