Oversaw and maintained 6 critical science labs with 24-hour, 7-day per week operation, 5 high value satellite dishes in exterior, exposed locations, a specially designed closed loop and exchange heat recovery system, HVAC, compressed air system, and the power plant housing 4 Caterpillar engines producing 1000 kW of power. Monitored and conserved the station’s water supply generated by the heat recovery system 394’ ice well.

Ensured Emergency Power Plant (EPP) and Life Support POD equipped with two 1kW engines, two boilers, HVAC, and stand-alone water system were prepared for use in the event of a catastrophic event.

Coordinated multiple projects including the relocation of three 40x150x14 outbuildings on skids, the installation of 4 new glycol cooling systems with helium compressors and the upgrade of 800’ of fuel lines to new line encased in 6 inches of insulation in a 12-inch containment pipe.

Regulated consumption and maintained supply of 400K gallons of ANS8 Fuel, conducted fuel testing and airplane refueling, saving 50% of fuel consumption by balancing heat throughout the facilities
