Performs therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for mental health patients, Document client’s assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing interventions as regards to psychotropic medications, symptoms, side effects and progress towards resolution.

Provide basic patient/family education to individuals or groups as appropriate to increase patient knowledge of medications, health/hygiene skills, and disease management/prevention and promote independent living skills.
