My responsibilities as a Postmaster

Daily opening and closing of the building

Checking outside mail receptacles for collection a.m. and p.m Unlocking secured room where incoming mail, parcels and all collection mail is collected and prepared for sorting for the rural route and office mail receptacles. After mail is properly distributed, a.m. computer reports must be timely routed to manager in the main office

My responsibilities also included computer skills and knowledge of daily a.m. and p.m. reports to main office.

Financial and Fiscal duties are a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly duty that must balance and be reported in a timely manner.

Some of my other duties are housekeeping inside and outside, Customer Satisfaction is one of the more important duties on a day to day basis. All procurement for supplies and services weekly and monthly are the Postmasters responsibilities to insure a smooth running establishment. to insure
