MEDIA AND MARKETING
Building and increasing the profitability of a company is an exciting challenge. Strategies and insight along with creativity and practical solutions can supercharge growth. Sound messaging, innovative sales techniques, and pointed marketing can deliver boosted results. As a proven experienced marketeer, I have the acquired skills, voluminous contacts, and resourcefulness to implement these and much more.
• Revealing and understanding the three stages of purchase or acquisition of products
• Creating sales presentations, formulating combinations of marketing approaches, implementing their usage
• Establishing an effective Business Development Center
• Developing and working in an environment for team success demonstrated by example
• Generating new revenue drivers and revenue streams
Starting in Sacramento California, Global Entertainment and Media Group developed working relationships with nearly five thousand clients representing a breadth of businesses. Through these engagements, GEM was able to garner copious amounts of proprietary marketing strategies facilitating new revenue drivers across a diverse group of businesses. GEM was started in 1991 with two employees and 3 years later established itself as a powerhouse ad agency and international television production company employing 47 people in 14,000 square feet of office space.
ESN, launched nationally on Dish ch230 was able to compete against the most formidable media conglomerates in the broadcast, cable, and satellite industry. Developing relationships with print and broadcast distributors, in addition to other forms of telephony was tantamount for the company’s early success in today’s modern business world. The strategic deployment of these was a significant factor in generating substantial new revenue streams for the company.
While working for the number one print syndication in the world, the level of success was measured daily. Marketing, engaging customers, and compelling customers to purchase were all that mattered. Numbers are revealing. Delivering on those precepts is expected at the highest levels of enterprise. Business success can only be measured by results.
During an early part of a business career as a bank underwriter for a fiduciary, it was foundational for a clear understanding of operational efficiencies. Having resources is not all that it takes; being resourceful is even more important, a lesson ingrained early on.
What makes a good fit in the business environment is diligence to detail, thoughtful use of personnel, and the resources available. Husbanding a robust motivated Business Development Center, and coalescing a sales team as one are important key elements to obtaining the most from top executives and employees.
