RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Day to day route operations serving client needs with regard to properly tracking, sorting, storing and delivery and pick up of automotive parts and accessories in Southern California and Arizona

2. Responsible for compliance with all processes to ensure safety and highest quality and timely transportation of products with proper documentation.

Responsible for vehicle safety and cleanliness, operating company vehicle properly as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license and driving record within acceptable company guidelines.

Ensure route is started with proper equipment/tools. i.e., route scanner and paper logs and reports, etc. proper usage and handling of handheld/scanning device

Follow route as scheduled/sequenced while allowing for will-call stops and special pickups

Maintain product integrity at all times, routinely checking and keeping required temperatures, proper handling and storage of all inventory from point of origin to drop off point

Properly care for and maintain company equipment including scanners, telephones and communicate any deficiencies promptly

Document and provide appropriate client information to Management

Review next day dispatch and anticipate needs to ensure schedule is not disrupted by any irregularity; communicate with dispatch before leaving an area to ensure will-calls have been cleared; keep route information, sequencing and all client notes up to date.
