From 4/2008 to October 2019 I was part of the Scripps advanced heart failure and LVAD team. I have had 14 years experience in Cardiology both inpatient and outpatient. I have experience with devices as well.

Scripps: For 11 years I was an APC for the Advanced Heart Failure, mechanical circulatory support, pulmonary HTN and Cardiogenic shock team. I performed functions in both Acute/ICU care and Clinic. I dealt with many chronic diseases and patient/staff education. I have been a research coordinator and sub investigator here as well.
Currently, I am back in the Division of Family and Internal Medicine for the past year. I have been with the company for over 15 years.
Temecula Valley Cardiology: Cardiology and Heart failure patient care and management. I was a research coordinator here as well. I was also the Clinical staff manager for a year. I left to pursue an advanced roll at Scripps after I was recruited by James Thomas Heywood, MD a nationally renowned Cardiomyopathy and transplant specialist.
Derrick Smith, MD: I was an independent FNP in this Family practice setting caring for newborn to geriatric. I left to pursue a Cardiology and CHF specialty as I had completed a Masters’ paper on outpatient CHF management.
