Mechanical / Rigging / Structural Superintendent
Supervise and coordinate all equipment operators, rigging activities, cranes management, lift plans and execution, structural steel activities, and construction of the following projects (listed as projects and subcontractors). Review lift and rigging plans with project engineering staff to ensure proper cranes and rigging equipment utilized. Craft supervisory responsibility includes client relations, and scheduling manpower and equipment for lifts on a timely basis. Plan and coordinate arrival of engineered equipment, other crafts, and project management in order to maintain a maximum utilization of manpower, equipment, schedules, and cost controls. Manage regulatory compliance and all other related aspects of the construction program. Review department work processes to ensure compliance with all federal OSHA regulations and industry standards. Supervise the audit of equipment inspections and mechanical maintenance of equipment assigned to the project at regular intervals.
Projects
Mobilized to Morehead, Ky on June 2, 2019 as Chief Inspector Level 3, had approx.. 1800’ of 36” pipe to change out and approx.. 700’ of 30” to change out. Completed without injury or incident. Finished up on April 23, 2020!
Mobilized to Buckhannon, WV for the Cleveland Compressor Station Project on August 7, 2017—ongoing.
Demobilized on January 10, 2018 (Due to family emergency)
Gulf Interstate Field Service—mobilized to Derwent, Oh. on July 10, 2017 as a General Inspector 3. Receiving pipe and spools for two jobs, one in @ File Creek and Cleveland W.V. Loading out pipe and spools and shipping to Meadowbrook, W.V.
Team Environmental LLC. w/ EQT in Waynesburg, Pa. as an Expert Civil Inspector on a Slip Repair from February 6, 2017 to April 15, 2017. Finished job.
Mobilized in Borger, Texas Mobilized February 2016 as a General Superintendent on Night Shift. Demobilized approximately May 2016, thought I was ready to retire.
Mobilized to Thailand, c/o STP&I Public Co. Ltd. Laem Chabang Fabrication Yard as a Structural/Rigging Superintendent on March 5, 2014 until present. We are acting as consultants to STP&I on the fabrication of 25 modules that will be shipped to Australia on the Ichthys Project. Implementing the IIF Safety Program. Demobilized on November 23, 2014!
Mobilized to Gorgon Upstream Project in Ulsan, South Korea as General Superintendent at the HHI Fabrication Yard on December 22, 2011. Fabricating Modules up to 3,500 tons and shipping them to Barrow Island, Australia for the Gorgon Project. Implementing the IIF Safety Program. Finish contract and demobilized on August 31, 2013.
Mobilized to Reficar Project in Cartagena, Columbia with CBI as Senior Rigging Superintendent on March 19, 2011. Implementation of IIF Safety Program was a major factor in this role. Demobilized on September 24, 2011.
Mobilized to Warri-Delta State-Nigeria on April 16, 2008 until November 11, 2010 as a Rigging Superintendent. I successfully completed my contract. I have assisted with the Materials Department by sorting out 14,500 tons of steel fabricated by Thai Herrick in Thailand by unloading from ships and segregating in the stacking areas. When the site requested steel we would load up barges and send them to site and this was done without incident. I have gone to Escravos occasionally to assist in the rigging department when there is an absence of supervision due to home leave. Oversee the unloading of ships and loading out barges with material going to the Site. Review all the lift/transportation plans that pertain to the Port operations. Implementation of the IIF Program.
After finishing Structural Steel unloaded approximately 480 containers of pipe spools which contains approximately 14,000+ spools and sent to site upon request.
Employed with KBR from December 10, 2007 to April 15, 2008 as a General Superintendent in Houston, Texas office on the Escravos GTL, Nigerian Project. Main objective at main office is to go through the structural steel drawings and put together packages that can be pre-assembled prior to going to site. Prioritize the bundling process for shipment to the site.

•Specific construction work consisted of small capital and shop order work, totaling on average 200,000 to 300,000 man-hours per year
•Coordinated the rigging plans and oversaw the installation of two package boilers
•Had a major downfall in the pond and had to change out all the piping in the unit and we used ASME Boiler Pressure Code section 8 31.3
and the Creo Windchill.

•Total scope of services provided through first 3 years was in excess of $200 million
•Worked active projects at BTCP and these projects were primarily constructed in operating units with a very high regard for safety and operability of each unit during the construction phase

Rigging / Structural Steel Superintendent – Anadarko / Sonatrach Project - HBNS II Expansion
Hassi Berkine, Algeria 2000-2001
•Grass roots project, a 350,000 bbl/day oil and gas production facility
•Included all utilities for the Hassi Berkine Development in the Sahara Desert Plains
•Project included gas / oil separation, gas re-injection, water re-injection, crude-oil storage, off site collection systems, and export
•Cost was $1.3 billion (U.S.)
•Supervised all heavy lifts and crane coordination
•Largest lift was 320 tons
•Exchanger lifts and installation were significant as we were tasked with place the equipment in tight, restricted access areas of the existing units
•Responsible for completing all rigging and lift plans in excess of 20 tons
•Utilized heavy H-Beams and Hillman Rollers for the transport and installation of modules
•Due to no rigging mats being available in-country, I developed rigging plan for the installation of 115 ton Stabilizer Column (12 feet diameter by 140 foot length)
