Mainframe Achievements:

· Implemented system revisions for ACT57 workers comp legislation on the mainframe utilizing Cobol, IMS, and CICS.

· Successfully designed, programmed, and system tested over 10 major system enhancement projects of over 1,000 man hours each.

· Planned, directed, developed and supervised all design, programming, and implementation activities related to the development of new systems and maintenance of existing mainframe systems for the Pa. State Workers Compensation Insurance Fund’s underwriting and claims divisions including policy creation and maintenance and claim processing.

· Participated in support of batch system during off hours on rotation basis. Provided solutions to get the batch run back up and running to completion in order to provide online system to the user community in the AM.

Client/Server Achievements:

· Created SQL scripts to update and insert data in our main Oracle databases as well as create new Oracle tables.

· Created scheduled FTP scripts to transfer files with outside agencies.

· Wrote VB .Net windows applications to replace old applications written in Paradox and created many new applications in .NET. Applications use Oracle and Microsoft Access databases as the back end. Accessed and updated database files through ADO.NET.
