Assisted elderly individuals with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, recording vital signs, catheter cleaning, and nappy cleaning, and helping with mobility issues.

Provided companionship and emotional support to patients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.

Monitored and administered medication as per the instruction of safety and wellbeing of clients.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have 5 years’ experience as a family caregiver for my elderly mother and husband who suffered from various illnesses including Dementia and Diabetes. Therefore I have gained experience in Dementia Care and Diabetes Care. Caring for my mother and Husband has created a desire in me to help make a positive difference in people’s lives. In doing so, I have learnt how to be patient and how to support with their needs while ensuring their dignity, and independence is of utmost importance.
