I recieved a B.S. in Industrial Technology with a minor in Technical Writing, and a B.A. in English Lit with a minor in History from Southeastern Louisiana University. I also have over twenty years of offshore oilfield experience with the last ten years working in supervisory roles. I am looking for a position with a company where I can continue to grow while facing interesting challenges and developing new skills.

EXPERIENCE

2022-2024

Project Manager/Designer for CheckPoint Pumps and Systems. I directed the production of custom designed chemical injection high pressure pumps for the oil and gas industry. This is a global company with offices in Europe and the Middle East. The projects that I managed have always left on schedule and performed as designed. The last project that I oversaw was billed at $335,000.00 and had a six-week completion time.

2021-2022

Project Manager/Estimator for AllStar Commercial Maintenance which serviced national chain stores across five states. I wrote several dozen proposals daily and ran up to thirty jobs per day for clients such as PetSmart, Dollar General, and Popeyes Chicken.

2000 – 2021

I ended my offshore career as a field superintendent for Marlin Oilfield rebuilding S2 Energy’s Timbalier Bay field which was destroyed during Hurricane Zeta. This involved rerouting over forty pipelines and rebuilding three header stations into a new Central Facility.

I was also a Data Recorder/Field Foreman for Obrien’s Emergency Response Mgmt. I.N.S.I.T.U. Burn Unit. During the B.P. blowout at the Macondo site, I was hired directly with O’Briens R.M. to work with the igniters to estimate the rate and size of the 416 fires created within ten miles of the blowout.

Other notable moments in during my time offshore was being part of a new company that became successful. I was one of the six original employees for what was Ranger Offshore. Originally the company was Tiburon before being bought out by Ranger which was then bought out by Epic. During this time, I was promoted to lead Diver aboard the Joe G. Jr. and received extensive N.D.T. training and experience during the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
