2020 Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers
May-June Completed an Online Internship programme on the subject of Petrochemical Engineering organized by IIChE and department of Chemical Engineering, MSRIT.
2021 Cipla - Intern
Aug-Sep w Learned about the Effluent Treatment Process of the plant. w Conducted various tests to determine COD and BOD of effluents w Designed a multi-effect evaporator suitable for the plant. w Understood the workings of various machinery starting from separation to purification units.
Projects:
2023 PWC
Sep-Nov w Collaborated with PWC on a project which entailed research, data gathering & presenting findings on how generative AI is impacting, influencing and transforming retail supply chain.
2023 Energy Audit
Sep-Nov w Conducted an energy audit on the Naylor's Building which belongs to the University of Toronto.
w Performed an energy analysis of the building's annual energy consumption from various equipment.
w Calculated the steam & water consumption along with their costs. w Developed energy management opportunities to reduce energy costs and increase energy efficiency.
2022 Synthesis & Characterization of SiO2/TiO2 - Epoxy April-July nanocomposites for high voltage applications w Synthesized SiO2/TiO2 nanoparticles which were dispersed into the epoxy matrix in varying percentages to produce composites. w Composites were subjected to characterization techniques such as SEM, XRD, FTIR, UTM and electrical tests.
w Performed data analysis to determine ideal sample. 2021 Developed a plant model for "Production of Ammonium Nitrate Aug-Dec at 200 t/day". Project includes literature survey of product, process selection, thermodynamic feasibility, mass and energy balances, equipment design, piping and instrumentation, market analysis and economic viability of product.
