until I was upgraded as NOC Dukem fuel depot manager. The responsibilities as a depot manager are the same as noted earlier as equipment service supervisor I had experienced;

• Installation and repair of pumps, flow meters, air compressors and steam power plants

• Repairs of electrical equipment and related mechanical and electronic control devices.

• Repairs of aircraft refueler gadgets both pneumatic and electronic systems

• Managing, service and facility inspection of ground and aviation fuel depot. To date I was working as Operations Technical Advisor and HSE Manager in NOC In this position I have acquired wide experience in leadership quality. As HSE Manager I had to;

• Identify the needs, propose, plan and deliver operational, technical and safety trainings. Lead a team to conduct HSE audits and produce audit reports along with the respective corrective action recommendations.

• Conduct work site risk assessment, with viable and economical Risk managing techniques and means

• Draft Company HSE Policy present for management decision get it signed and then confirm it is actioned. Draw operational and safety procedures and guidelines and see that it is implemented after approval.

• Lead accident/incident investigations, identify the root causes come up with remedial action recommendations. Produce and distribute investigation reports with target dates of plan of actions to avoid recurrence.

• Lead a team to conduct HSE audits and produce audit reports along with the respective action recommendations.

As Operations advisor I had the opportunity to manage the under listed responsibilities;

• Since NOC was the fuel supplying company I had the chance to lead the erection of a provisional fuel storage facility at GERDP (Great Ethiopian Renaissance dam Project) that has a capacity of over three thousand MC.

• To design and lead the installation of two by 100 Metric Ton capacity LP gas storage facility project for AYKA Addis textile factory. The facility includes complete LPG discharge, vapor and liquid supply lines and liquid vaporizer.

• Design, lead and supervise LPG cylinder filling plant expansion. The project has been tested and commissioned for operation increasing the filling capacity by three fold.

• Design, lead and supervise the expansion of aviation fuel depot. After a HAZOP study the expansion project design was implemented.
