As a Safety Tech I am responsible for inspecting work equipment and machinery, I let all employees know and understand about potential hazards in the workplace as a Safety I also review the companies policies and procedures.
Responsibilities as a Safety is to coach and train employees to concentrate and focus on their task of the day.
Responsibilities as a Supervisor consist of extensive knowledge of running a big project and being responsible for all employees doing their tasks.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF SAFETY TECH:
● Make sure all JSA and permits are ready and available for the crew’s working on different areas of the job site
Make sure they understand the work and duties they are about to do. What PPE is required for the job specification and understand the rules.
● Investigate an incident, talk to the employee and his co-workers about the incident and how it can be safe for the employee and co-workers and for them not to be afraid of reporting any incidents and to use the stop work authority.
● Make sure when pouring concrete to use the necessary PPE double protection every time they pour concrete and correct PPE and paperwork as JSA and permitted and understand the role and work as a team.
● Inspect all equipment is properly checked before use and report any problems with the unit and report any leaks while using equipment and make sure they know the unit works and make sure they have a license to operate the proper equipment.
● Do drug testing when needed when or if the company sends it to the appropriate labs. Be a Mentor on helping new employees to the industry for them not to get hurt.
● As a Safety I will make sure employees follow the rules and help them understand and write a proper JSA and permits to make sure they give home in one piece or getting hurt. REFERENCES:
