Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the scientific principles behind food and beverage production. I have also gained practical experience through previous attachment at KEBS and coursework, which allowed me to work on various aspects of quality control and compliance with industry standards. WORK EXPERIENCE

January-March 2023

Kenya Bureau of Standards [KEBS] ATTACHMENT- TESTING DEPARTMENT

During my work experience in KEBS, I Performed analytical work such as Determination of Aflatoxins levels, Total Ash Content, Moisture content, Free Fatty Acid (FFA), alcohol content, detecting microorganism such as yeast and molds, Total Viable Count (TVC) Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Escherichia coli (E.coli), Water Analysis and determination of heavy metals levels by using laid down procedures (SOPs) to determine product properties and characteristics using existing standards. Demonstrated ability to adhere to ISO 17025:2017.Recognized and awarded KEBS certification. I also learned the importance of good communication, time management, following instructions and teamwork in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Through this experience, I developed strong interpersonal skills and learned how to deal with varieties of products right from receiving, products, performing analytical work and getting results.

JULY-AUGUST 2019

KNBS-Participated in Kenya National Census as an enumerator.

Conducted enumerations roles and collected information from households and individuals in my assigned areas, submitted data online to help build comprehensive and accurate data, was able to adhere to KNBS code of conduct. I gained a deep appreciation for the importance of attention to detail, as even the smallest mistake can have a big impact on the quality of output. Additionally, I became adept at managing my time and prioritizing tasks to ensure that everything was completed efficiently and effectively. Overall, my time as an enumerator taught me valuable skills that I have been able to apply to various aspects of my personal and professional life.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

During my university school years, I have engaged in several environmental clean-up, tree planting programs and conservation initiatives and visited several children home with aim of uplifting and donating to the less fortune in the society.
