I have more than 54 years of experience working in the electric utility industry. I also have an extensive amount of experience in safety, in training of all grades of line workers in progression and supervisors as I spent eight years working as a trainer for the National Grid Learning Center in Millbury, Massachusetts.
I have a vast amount of experience in Supervision in Substation, Overhead, Underground Distribution systems, Transmission including new installations, restoration, conversions, expansion of existing circuits, removal, and all types of equipment.
National Grid Dec. 29, 1969 to Oct. 2008
Duties to include:
Switching in the substations and tagging circuits

Phasing primary wires and secondaries
Replacing capacitor banks
Replacing oil switches
Replacing transformers, power banks, step-down transformers, all reclosers and regulators

Overhead Line Department, duties included:
Switching and tagging transmission lines 115 KV and 345 KV l
Switched the 345 KV line from the Pilgrim Power Plant to the Bridgewater Substation so maintenance workers at the plant could clean the salt from their insulators.
Trouble shoot the National Grid overhead system and customer voltage complaints.
Respond to emergencies, storms, car pole accidents and wires down calls.
Troubleshoot and switch in URD developments.
