• Effectively identified the advocacy needs, priorities and resource requirements for IIB’s U.S. government relations functions and mandate.

• Advocated on behalf of the top 25 largest banks for legislative and regulatory issues and proposals affecting bank and bank holding company capital markets activities, including underwriting and dealing in all types of securities and bank dealer and end-user derivative activities.
• Maintained close relationships with bankers, policymakers, and regulators to inform them of significant policy issues and developments to develop policy positions and developed appropriate tools to assist bankers with policy changes and developments (relevant agencies include CFTC, Fed, OCC, & SEC).
• Led industry working groups and have crafted eight (8) comment letters on Securities, Capital, and FBO-related regulatory matters. VP OF BANKING POLICY

• Engaged relevant government agencies and bank stakeholder groups on issues critical to the broker dealer and capital markets business in the financial services industry.
• Worked with internal and external stakeholders and experts to identify opportunities and risks arising from policy and regulatory development.
• Facilitated meetings between ABA members and internal stakeholders, including senior government officials, regulators, other industry associations, and outside consultants to promote ABA advocacy positions.

International Banking Federation (IBFed), Prudential Supervision Working Group (PSWG), Washington, DC (2019 – 2022)
• Co-led the policy development of guidelines and standards for the prudential regulation and supervision of the banking industry with global financial services trade groups in Australia, Canada, UK, EU, Japan, South Africa, and others.
