EXPERIENCE
Case Manager January 2019 to current
Child Support Recovery Unit, Waterloo, IA 40 hours per week
Perform complex case management for parents in need of paternity, medical and support establishment, modification of an existing order, and maintenance of support orders. Duties include communicating with a variety of community partners including human service agencies, attorneys, clerks of court, county sheriffs, employers, corrections, and other entities to achieve the goals of the Child Support Program.
Assist customers in person and by phone to answer questions or guide them through processes dealing with their case. Process electronic filings through EDMS (Electronic Data Management System) and Csef (Child Support electronic filing). Integrate federal, state, and local laws as applicable in the Child Support Recovery program in my daily work activities including maintaining confidentiality. Utilize additional outsource software with the Judicial Branch, Department of Human Services, and Iowa Workforce Development as needed. Assist training additional team members and effectively work as a team player. Manage daily workload on a priority and urgency level.
Bartender/General Manager July 2022 to December 2023
Grumpys Bar and Event Center, Readlyn, IA/Grumpy’s Lanes, Waukon 20 - 30 hours per week (varies)
Greet customers as they come in, take orders, upgrade by offering certain suggestions, make drinks and deliver food. Clear tables, as needed while customers are there, assist with any needs they may have (highchairs, large party tables, additional items), daily cleaning after each shift. Assist in the Event center by setting up banquet tables and chairs, bartending during events, assist with spot cleaning tables as needed. Managing payments and register and doing closing shift reports. Hiring and training of staff, scheduling for the front staff and back of house staff, following proper food and safety regulations.

Resident Assistant certified in dispensing medication to the residents. Assisted with daily living activities, meals, dressing and assist with cleaning of residents apartments.

Produced and researched legal documents for court proceedings based upon Iowa's state codes; update and maintain attorney calendars based upon availability with the judicial administration for 8 surrounding counties. Daily interaction by telephone and written/electronic correspondence with inter and intra state agencies including: attorneys, Judges, clerks of court, sheriffs, human services and customers with inquiries regarding child support. Issue receipts and administer deposits for daily transactions at the office as needed. First point of contact for customers coming in to stay. Assisted with taking registrations online, by phone and in person. Kept confidentiality regarding rooms and credit card information. Managed daily bookkeeping and payments for my shift. Assisted customers with additional needs such as towels, toiletries, offered suggestions on restaurants to dine at, site seeing in the vicinity and information while they stayed at the hotel.

Assisted customers, attorneys, Judges, and other court personnel with concerns regarding judicial procedure. Processed on daily basis payment receipts, account balancing, filing of documents for criminal cases and personally assisted clients with preparation of domestic abuse petitions and further direction to Crisis Intervention.
