I have a rich history with restaurants. I moved to Cincinnati in 1997 to Attend UC, and my earned my first job at Uncle Woody’s, where the motto was: if it floats its ready. While going to school full time I earned a second job at Lendhardt’s in Clifton as dishwasher, within 2 weeks I was promoted to highest cooking position, schnitzel back line. I learned some of the basics and started serving in the front of the house. My server culinary and server career continued to Mecklenburg Gardens until Jeff Ruby
opened Carlo and Johnny in 2001. It was there that I was chose to open the kitchen under Jimmy Gibson. Within 2 years I was working head Sautee and quickly became the Sous Chef, and eventually leading the whole restaurant operations.
