Design renderings and create detailed installation Instruction Sheets used by Sephora (and Macys and Kohl’s) Instore Associates for every job. Digitally package files and keep them organized (brands: Lancome, Clinque, Valentino, Fenty, Christian Dior etc.) and ensure server consistency. Re-design the SOP and instruction template for Instruction Sheets for dozens of top brands brands according to feedback from Retailer. Track jobs and graphics across multiple physical and digital platforms and communicate closely with QC. Pre-Press Graphic Designer, Preflight electronic files received from clients and check them for accuracy and completeness. Inform account man- agers of any concerns prior to proceeding into production. Verify colors. Output plate-ready color proofs and color separations as well as Digital Print files - make adjustments dependent on type of printing. Maintain job file history for reference and retrieval. Make recommendations for print improvements. Trapping and Assembly. Create artwork for clients as requested. Remove unnecessary data and prepare files using PackZ, Illustra- tor and Photoshop. Work with Customer Service to adjust files to match customer specifications including step & repeat, distortions and cutbacks. Make color, text and image corrections as needed. Formulation Technician, Manufacture temperature controlled ink for vaccines. Handle intermediates and bulk materials for production and R&D according to established procedures and production schedule. Perform pre-prodution activities including proofing reference rings. Assist with the development and execution of validation projects and protocols, reviewing and editing SOPs, work instructions, part specifications, and necessary documentation. Execute IFS transactions to ensure accurate inventory and records. Support development of improvements in the formulation man- ufacturing areas. Assist with in-process testing to assure manufactured materials meet specifications. Support physical inventories. Color match reference rings to accepted industry standards with verification. Operate laboratory equipment. Maintain and utilize process equipment including reaction vessels, scales, mixers, chillers, rheological devices, draw-down machines and three roll mill according to established procedures. Support R&D activities, including participation in development trials, carrying out new types of raw material and product characterization/performance testing and use of experimental materials. Hand made and color corrected small batch (2lbs.) lithographic inks for the world-wide Pantone color guide. Work with Pressmen, Color Control and Ink Laboratory. Create corporate ID’s (Conan O’Brien, Alexander McQueen, The Macallum etc.) One of a team of two responsible for production of up to 42 inks production cycle daily. Delta E’s delivered of .7 and often lower. If you have a Pantone book from 2018 -2021 - that is me and my partner’s work - every color. Consulted with Facilities Management on special project — creation and use of custom milded steel sleeve for mixing PMS colors. Assisted X-Rite heavily in research on up-dated proofing system for the Formula Guide/Color Bridge resulting in superior pre-press density prediction in ink preparation. Experienced with spectrophotometer, IFS software and GFI dispensing unit. Skilled at draw downs and direct visual comparison. Scored 100 percent on hue discrimination testing. Represented Pantone ink production in print and digital media pieces. Reported directly to Director of Operations of Pantone. First female in Pantone’s employment history (established 1963) to hold position. Have co-completed ink production of six Formula Guides/Color Bridges, Metallics Guides and Pastel Guides.
