Neurology Department

Northwell Hospital

To whom this may concern:

I am writing to you to express my keen interest in a position as a Nurse Practitioner within the Neurology department.

Currently, my line of work is within the patient safety and quality realm. I work as a Quality Lean RN Coach at Allegheny General Hospital. Primarily my role is centered around leading a variety of quality and safety committees, one of which is the Hospital Acquired Pressure Injury Prevention Collaborative, wherein I created a robust and successful group of over thirty front-line nurses, physician advisers, occupational therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. My role as a transformational leader is further enhanced by my extensive background in critical care nursing (comprised of 4.5 years of bedside nursing), wherein I was always part of a strong and established team, collaborating with my peers, nurse practitioners, physicians, and others to place patients at the center of our care. Upon reviewing the position of a Neurology nurse practitioner, I found that this role is not only highly interesting, but also congruent with my current and professional goals, to evolve as an acute care nurse practitioner and to expand my clinical skills and knowledge. While reading about your expectations, I recognized that I am an ideal fit for this position. In and outside of work, I am responsible, organized, hardworking, and punctual in every aspect of my life. I also embody caring attributes and thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team. It would be an honor and privilege to become part of your esteemed and reputable Nurse Practitioner provider group at Northwell Health.

Thank you for your time. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at 248-***-**** or ad21sg@r.postjobfree.com. Thank you, once again, for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Sincerely,

Sara-Jane Dakroub, MSN, AGACNP-BC, CCRN
