My name is Tobias. I am a passionate and knowledgeable person with over 30 years of mechanical experience and most recently superintendent and managerial experience seeking a superintendent or operations engineering position. I started as a plasterer/painter, then learned carpentry, electrical, tile, roofing and siding. From there, I began learning plumbing, re-piping of water, drain, vent, and gas lines. I have experience with heating and cooling, including boilers, HVAC systems, etc. I am a good trouble shooter. I soon became the hands-on supervisor of a 5-man construction crew for several years, then I started working in Manhattan as a plumber, then as a handyman. I have worked side by side with superintendents in the past, substituted for chief engineers, and supervised outside contractors. I have successfully managed projects from beginning to completion, some projects using blueprints and following specs., but always sharing knowledge and experience with co-workers. I have worked as an independent contractor on a few kitchen and bathroom renovation projects, as I am skilled in all areas of construction. I am a self-starter who works very hard, and I take great pride in my work. I am also fluent in Spanish and English.
