This includes, designing the application architecture, data modelling for the core product, data modelling for the dynamic data model for the reporting needs of the sales compensation, and designing the out-of-box standard reports.

SPINT Communications uses the Callidus 5x for their sales comp processing. This project is for upgrading it to Monaco version of TrueComp, keeping the functionalities of all the existing plans & rules as they currently exist. As a principal architect, my job responsibilities were to fine tune plans & rules, eliminating the redundant pieces of plans & rules. Re-design the interfaces for the Monaco requirement, and migrating the existing reports onto the BO based universe.

As a ‘Principal Architect’, I completed the following projects,

•‘Add Credit Risk & Geography’

This project was for calculating the commissions for the dealers based on the consumers’ credit history & their geographical locations for the various set of products sold to the consumers.

•‘Life-Shield Integration Installer payments’

Certain products of DirecTV carries a life shield kit installation. This project was for calculating the commissions for the dealers selling the products along with the life shield kits.

Nationwide is an insurance company and one of the world’s largest diversified financial services organizations. With over 16 million policies in force, Nationwide has 32000 sales associates. Commission & bonus calculation for these sales associates is pretty complex task with the variety of sales models.

After careful evaluation of currently existing sales compensation products in the market, Nationwide has chosen to use MERCED-ICM product suite for calculation of sales commission & bonuses for its sales associates.

As a lead solutions Architect, my job responsibilities falls in two parts,

1) Supporting the existing instance of the Merced-ICM for Nationwide’s ‘Variable Compensation’ LOB. This includes partnering with the cross functional business users, understand the administration of various compensation plans, maintaining/designing the comp plans & calculators for change in the fiscal year and design the integration activities suitably for this change, and to help the business users in trouble-shooting the commission processing interruptions & monitoring the application.

2) Supporting the solution for upcoming project on Merced-ICM implementation across the Nationwide’s other lines of business. This includes planning, execution, support of projects and initiatives in sales compensation system along with end-to-end designing/architecture of the technical solution for Merced-ICM implementation and provide subject matter expertise to the new business users.

Wells Fargo is one of the largest bank in the banking business in United States.

In December, 2008, "Wells Fargo & Company" replaced "Wachovia Corporation" another big banking business organization. Wachovia has six different lines of business (LOB) calculating commissions for their sales people. Each of these LOBs is on separate Callidus instance version 5.2.

As part of merger with Wachovia, Wells Fargo acquired the Callidus Sales Performance Management Suite of products. This new approach/model will have all incentive compensation calculations centralized in the Wells Fargo Corporate Human Resources department. As a solutions Architect, my job responsibilities falls in two parts,

1) Supporting the existing instances of the Callidus for Wachovia's LOBs. This includes partnering with the cross functional business users, understand the administration of various compensation plans, design the comp plans & rules for change in the fiscal year and design the integration activities suitably for this change, and to help the business users in trouble-shooting the commission processing interruptions & monitoring the application.

2) Supporting the solution for upcoming project on Callidus implementation across the Wells Fargo lines of business. This includes planning, execution, support of projects and initiatives in sales compensation system along with end-to-end strategy for TrueComp implementation on the lines of budget, resource & time management to meet the project deliverables/deadlines. Other than that provide subject matter expertise to the new business users, design end-to-end architecture for TrueComp pilot phase implementation. Pilot phase will include implementation of TrueComp 6.x (Monaco version), and corresponding versions of TrueInformation & TruAnalytics.
