PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CINCINNATI ZOO & BOTANICAL GARDEN 1988 – Present
The zoo is a non-profit institution dedicated to connecting people with the natural world around them.
Keeper Night Hunters (2010 – Present)
Moved to Zoos new Nocturnal House named Night Hunters Adding to my responsibilities caring for Large Carnivores. Also assisting managing a team of 7 keepers.
Started serving on the AZA Small Carnivore TAG steering Committee.
Head Keeper Nocturnal House (2000-2009)
Managed the diverse collection of animals, their facility and its exhibits and service personnel.
Created and presented numerous highly engaging educational and informative programs to groups of visitors numbering 5 to 50.
Researched and instituted the care and feeding requirements of new species as they were introduced into the zoo collection.
Recognized for facilitating the first ever captive births of three (3) endangered species.
Served on the Safety Committee.
Served as an Institutional Representative for the Prosimian Taxon Advisory Group obtaining information on how we could better care for these animals.
Remodeled and repaired exhibits in the Nocturnal House resulting in better visitor experiences.

Maintained the animals and advised zoo management of any problems and recommended solutions.
Maintained off-exhibit holding cages.

Cleaned assigned areas daily and filled in where needed.
