Job Responsibilities:

Over all site LTC maintenance activity at BOILER, MILL, FAN, TG & BOP Site.

Responsible for smooth & continuous running of the Boiler, Equipment & Machinery

To maintain all plant, equipment & facilities in good working order, improve the equipment/Process/system.

Co-ordinate and understating with the all technical issues and schemes to suite the particular engineering design.

Conducting Boiler Hydro Test and checking for leakages.

Shutdown and overhauling activity of boiler area.

Site management activities and co-ordination with all.

Ensure adherence to safety environment and safety of people and unit through PTW system and strict compliance of SOPS.

Good communication ability that is needed to handle interactions with peoples in organization and strong belief in team work with individual effort.

To attend emergencies like system failure, boiler trip, tube leakages etc.

Isolation and normalization of Boiler and boiler equipment for maintain following the permit to work system.

Preparation of engineering report on daily progress, weekly and monthly report

Shutdown, overhauling and maintenance of boiler pressure part area Mill, Fan, Esp Carrying out all the inspection as per the inspection and test plan of the company.

Responsibilities during Maintenance:

Boiler Pressure Parts-2X660MW

(CORE COMPETENCIES)

• Effective and Preventive maintenance of boiler pressure parts with minimum lead time.

• Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for Boiler tube leakages.

• Boiler tube leakage maintenance management (Arrangement of sky climber/scaffolding, spare tube

& welding work.

• Valve maintenance (i.e. gland/bonnet sealing, gasket replacement, lapping works of seat & other parts maintenance).

• Oil Gun readiness, Preventive Maintenance work in fuel oil handling system.

• Soot blower maintenance (Poppet valve pressure setting & replacement, Lance tube, Feed tube, nozzle & gearbox replacement etc.)

• Preparation implementation of Improvement plan, Manpower handling and job execution. Annual Overhauling of Boiler 2014 to 2020 Major Activities Includes:-

(a) Safety Valve servicing, setting & floating, Soot blower servicing & pressure setting.

(b) Thickness survey, Tube replacement & shielding work (LTSH, Water wall, Super heater, Reheater & Economizer bend tube).

(c) Valve servicing (Stem packing, disc, pressure seal replacement, lapping work etc.)

(d) Spring hangers inspection and setting (Cold & hot value setting, displacement etc.)

Actively involved in:

Maintenance of Bowl Mill (HP1003).

Complete overhauling of Mill (Roller journal cover replacement, bearing replacement, Bull ring segment replacement).

Complete overhauling of Mill rejects system.

Complete overhauling of Mill lube oil system.

Complete overhauling of RC Feeders – Belt replacement, Maintenance of idlers & pulleys (Bearing replacement).

Replacement of Metallic & Non metallic Expansion joints. Maintenance of Axial flow fan (ASN-2060/1000) & (PAF18-13.3-2) and centrifugal fan (14144Z/1870) 1. Complete overhauling of axial flow fan (Rotor assembly replacement, Bearing replacement).

2. Complete overhauling of Centrifugal fan with hydraulic variable speed coupling (impeller replacement, bearing replacement).

3. Complete overhauling of Hydraulic coupling.

OTHER EXPERIENCE:

Keen observation skill to capture the early warnings of equipment failure.

Good communication skills to motivate the team & complete the job within stipulated time frame.

Skill to read the equipment history & carry out data analysis to arrive at RCA.
