International and Domestic suppliers. Design and Procure containers for any Quality Critical and CLASS A finish parts. Follow LEAN concepts to drive a competitive supply chain. Handle any / all quality issues, in regards to packaging in a timely matter. I managed projects in all 5 Yamaha locations. Project Lead on all new model, bank builds, and re-locations in Yamaha facilities. Maintain budgetary requirements on all projects. Set up and implemented a 1-piece flow in welding
operations. I brought in a simulation process and company to enhance the production and material flow in the warehouse and new paint line.

I maintained all packaging standards and
implementations of containers throughout the entire corporation. Lapeer had 6 plants. I met deadlines, and researched the most cost effective way to accomplish the tasks associated with the job. I also procured all external and internal expendable packaging, for all plants. I designed all packaging schemes for external and internal customers. Communicated and facilitated all ergonomic and cost reducing efforts for all plants. I practiced all methods of LEAN MANUFACTURING including 5S Standards, Small
Group, and sequencing of Material Flow throughout the plants and resolved all packaging related issues. Lapeer was a tier-1 supplier to General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Saturn, and Honda. Lapeer was a 300 million dollar company, and the entire corporation was 750 million a year. I also have traveled to many facilities to maintain a good working relationship with our customers.

During this time I held 3 positions, but in this
company all were considered as one. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to: Troubleshoot any and all production related issues. Maintained strict quality standards. Lapeer was a UAW factory. Accountable for staying within a departmental budget.
Personnel duties: hire, dismiss, schedule, delegate, and train.
I managed personnel in both our Assembly Plant and Stamping Plant. During my management period, I had three people promoted to higher positions. I was also responsible for Inventory turns, and Production Floor Manpower requirements.
