Experience/Skills/Accomplishments Summary:

I currently have 14 years of experience as a 215 Licensed Insurance Agent, (Life, Health & Annuities).

Prior to that I was an Elementary School Teacher in Seminole County from 1986 to 2005. for grades one through five. During this time, I was also a Supervising Teacher for the University of Central Florida Teacher Interns for two consecutive years.

I resigned due to a change in family life, and afterwards sought a new career opportunity in the insurance industry.

My experience includes working as a Time Management and Scheduling Trainer (WFM Employee System Use) for Connecticare Team of Licensed Agents for GuidewellConnect, the Parent Company to Florida Blue and several other Insurance Organizations. My manager was Antonio Machargo Diaz, Site Leader. Received the Five Years of Service Award and Letter from Florida Blue’s President and CEO, Mr. Pat Geraghty.

My expertise consists of strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent customer service rapport, and proficiency in Microsoft, Office, Word, Excel, CRM, NICE/MAX softphones, MS Teams etc.

Employment History

August 1, 2022 to Present - eHealth Insurance/Qualfon/Dialog Direct – Broker with over 30 carriers represented across the US. Educate and enroll Medicare Beneficiaries in their Medicare Advantage Plans, Prescription Drug Plans, Supplemental Standardized Plans and Ancillary Plans. Hired Seasonal 8/1/22 and transitioned into Permanent Full Time Hire 3/25/23. I am seeking to continue day shift hours Monday through Friday with flexibility for weekends: NOTE: I am available on Saturdays and not available on Sundays.

September 2016 – February 2022 Guidewell Connect (Parent Company to Florida Blue & several other insurance organizations) – 215 Licensed Insurance Agent – Position Telesales Department

Companies Included Premier BlueCross Blue Shield of Washington and Alaska, EmblemHealth Insurance of New York, and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.

Duties: 3rd Party Insurance for Kindred Health Care Employees across the US.
