Program Manager Consultant May 2022- May 2023

As Technical Program manager I used my skills with a very small part-time team to de-activate the VersionOne application and move 250 teams across 11 business units worldwide (China, London, Paris, the Cape, to name a few) to Azure Dev Ops (ADO) application to the AWS cloud. The target given consisted of a move within one year- we completed two (2) months early and saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in licensing fees/support. The migration included moving Portfolio items - Initiatives, Epics, Features, and Backlog items – Stories, Bugs and Defects.

Lead weekly transition/migration meetings with senior leadership as well as each team using “Microsoft Teams”

Provided weekly updates to senior leadership as to number of teams in progress, number of teams completely moved to ADO as well as reviewed open issues focusing on critical and high issues.

Conducted high level presentations with senior leadership (C-level) for each business unit and detailed meetings with the individual teams that will be migrating to ADO.

Created Pre and Post Migration checklist to be used by the teams prior to and after the migration has taken place.

Used “Confluence” to house the various artifacts such as FAQ’s, Overall Azure Dev Ops Migration Information, etc.

Created an Issues/Risk log for tracking Critical (e.g. No work around), High (e.g. Has a work around), Medium and Low issues related to the migration effort

Senior Program Manager Consultant – May 2021 – April 2022 Worked 100% remote

Managed four major software development SaaS projects used in the AWS Cloud; Proactive Alerts (customer facing); GIS upgrade to include Enterprise server, Desktop and Enterprise Mobile app. Moving and up-grading the Proactive Alert applications to the AWS Cloud providing a detailed project plan using MS Project that was fully resource loaded with both internal resources; IT- Developers, Business Analyst, Quality, Marketing, Security, etc. and 3rd party vendor. These applications are full customer facing using cell phones, i-Pads, computers or the telephone. The upgrade included multi-language functionality and Identity Access Management using Okta .

As the Technical PM I also managed the OGS power plant project which was an infrastructure project that encompasses all the requirements to bring on a power generating station that was purchased by OUC. I manage all aspects of the infrastructure to include resources, WiFi networks, equipment orders, installation, testing and training making sure the facility meets OUC standards working with all departments (Legal, IT, Security, etc.)

I produce detailed project plans that are resource loaded, status reports that provide weekly status and budget vs actual. I also produce the Charters, Communication plans, RACI charts, Risks/Issue reports to include action plans.

Senior Program Manager consultant– Resort Sales and Sales Integration, Dec 2019- Feb 2020

Managed two major software development / upgrade projects (Resort Reservation System (Packages, Sales, Booking, Payments and Vendor 3rd Party partners) and Core API’s and EAI replacement applications, moving to the Cloud) using the Agile/Scrum methodology. Senior Manager Sales Operations Technology (Worldwide), 2017-2019

Using my project management skills, I traveled to all major domestic and international sales sites focusing on impact of technology on the sales process through to contracts submission looking for any process improvements.

Built relationships with the sale site teams: sales, marketing, contracts and operations along with the site leadership.

Conducted on-site sales site visits twice per year to observe and document issues and enhancements with applications/technology/infrastructure to include WiFi connectivity.

Participated in the review of projects to set priorities being the liaison between the business sides of the house, IT, 3rd party vendors.

Worked with implementation services/release/delivery management teams to ensure smooth transition from software development of the application into production following the Agile methodology.
