Working at Macy’s department store as a beauty consultant and skin specialist for Estee Lauder, provided me to have the largest data base in the Cosmetic department. I always had a passion for beauty and helping women. During this time, I was also a realtor, which allowed me to marry the two occupations and reap many benefits.

July 2013 - December 2019

CEO of Pamela Ford Cosmetics in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. I sold my products on the internet through The DERMSTORE and donated to charitable organizations such as God’s Pantry and the Healing Place etc.…… It was fun negotiating contracts with vendors and selecting formulas for my products with the chemist at the Classic Cosmetics in California. The same place Estee Lauder filled her components with. I designed the components to fill my color products, such as eyeshadows. I also designed make-up brushes, brush bags, and cosmetic bags.

January 2009 / August 20

I was the architect and designer to an addition of my homes on Poplar Crest Road and River Edge Court.

During these years I also enjoyed working on a multitude of charitable organizations and Fundraisers such as March of Dimes, Actors Theatre, Geranium Ball, Kentucky Country Day…… I was responsible for the revenue of these organizations through auctions. I made a difference by acquiring articles from famous athlete’s, which allowed me to raise the price of items being auction.

1982 /2001

I organized a Finance club called Wall Street Women, we were able to discuss different stocks and their history. This proved quite informative since most of members were married to CEOs of companies. We started with $1,000 each. Three years later, I walked away with $20,000 when I left to build my home in Boca Raton, Florida.

SUNSHINE HOMES is a company where I worked with my husband designing and selling houses. The fun part was when we flipped them with a profit.

I was responsible for the safety of my passengers, serving a gourmet meal in First Class and Coach. It was important to give First Class service since the airlines were quite competitive at that time. I needed to be able to take control of any unruly passengers and comply with their wants and needs, which could be delivering a baby. One of my responsibilities was to secure the cabin and collect all monies from liquor purchases. It was important to know the design of every jet for safety’s sake.

I enjoy working with diverse people as you can see, according to the occupations I have chosen to be involved with. Different people make life more interesting. Sometimes it can be a challenge, however it is very gratifying for me to be able to put a smile on their faces in times of adversity.
