Developed PowerShell scripts to automate database record conversion through company API o PowerShell script changed processing time from one record per 5-20 minutes through application’s User Interface to 10,000 – 60,000 conversions per hour (depending on client equipment speed and amount of data in records). o Created documentation for script targeting end user as well as document with more detailed developers notes, Lee A. including errors encountered from incomplete or corrupted client data. o SQL queries to manipulate data in MS SQL Server, some interacting with multiple databases and tables in a single query.
o PowerShell scripts to create dynamic SQL queries and then run them.
PowerShell script using Web Services (SOAP) API to mass convert data fields so software created records of changes made.
PowerShell handling of XML documents, extract, and manipulate data.
Various other PowerShell script utilities to extract, sort, and process data from clients.
Excel VBA macros in spreadsheets to automate data manipulation, including adding buttons on a worksheet to make it easier to run the macros. One spreadsheet automation I developed changed a 2-3 hour process, plus an overnight wait while partially converted data was sent to another tech team for further processing and returned for final processing, to 10 minutes total including steps to duplicate the tasks of the other tech team (no overnight wait) Spreadsheet data was typically 25K to 60K rows. Originally 2 additional utility applications were used to process the data in 3 more steps of this process. I incorporated the functionality of these applications into the spreadsheet by translating C# source code into the VBA equivalent so processing was as seamless as possible. I also extracted data from databases these utility applications used and put it into worksheets so all the needed data and processing was incorporated into a single spreadsheet.
Excel spreadsheet automation modified - data file (128K+ lines) loading into Excel failed to complete the task of reading the file. Modifications changed load to a few seconds. Added custom progress bar to show percentage of lines processed as the data was written to the worksheet after being read.
Implemented the idea for other team members to use buttons on a worksheet to initiate VBA macros in Excel as a more user-friendly interface.
Assist in upgrading major software version for domestic and international clients in the financial sector (banks, credit unions, credit card companies, gaming institutions, etc.).
Tutored other techs in how the PowerShell, VBA, and SQL scripting I wrote worked to expand their knowledge and skill sets.
Modified existing PowerShell scripts and .NET applications to meet needs of clients.
Various other PowerShell functionality to make the operations of scripts more user friendly, including GUI functionality in PowerShell.
Added C# multithreading functionality for a client to incorporate into their own application code. Application Analyst Wisconsin Physicians Service Jan. 19-Sept. 21
Worked with O365, ServiceNow, and SharePoint teams.
Developed PowerShell scripts for O365 team.
o PowerShell script changed processing time for a multiple distribution group update task from the original 8-16 hours (typically with errors) to 11 minutes (with no errors). o PowerShell script changed a projected task length from 6 months done manually to 2 weeks (automated task done in increments).
o Training of other team members on PowerShell programming to increase understanding and ability to use PowerShell
Developed PowerShell scripts, Javascript features for SharePoint team. o PowerShell script written to automate transfer of monthly patching files to 25 different SharePoint servers. Task done manually required more than 1 hour to perform. After script was implemented, task required approximately 2 minutes to start it running and then approximately 7 minutes more for it to complete while running unattended. o Modified confetti script found on Internet to work with older browser still in use by company users, set up to run only between desired dates, and confetti display to meet esthetics desired by corporate team (confetti display type, duration, and screen position, cookie set to only run confetti once every 24 hours). o Designed interface between SharePoint and ServiceNow (through O365 AD group email addresses) to automatically create RITMs and TASKs when documents in SharePoint are updated and review/certification is required.
ServiceNow developer.

o Javascript functions to read, parse, and convert CSV and XLSX spreadsheets into table data. Designed to work both server side and client side (AJAX). Creates JSON objects with requested data. o Javascript functions to find equipment assigned to users and return a list of all equipment with equipment names and equipment types. Works server side and client side (AJAX). o Workflow script to automate RITM and TASK creation from uploaded .XLSX spreadsheets. Each spreadsheet uploaded through this workflow saves a minimum of 8 hours of manually entering data, now completes in less than a minute.
o Script to find all equipment assigned to a user for tracking where company equipment is. o Scheduled Job run on Mondays to create TASKs based on which week of the year it is. Rotating 4-week cycle fired off one of four workflows with custom scripts to select random (non-duplicated) data table records for weekly integrity reviews.
o Procurement form to translate Excel spreadsheet questionnaire with calculations into ServiceNow form. There were approximately 45 scripts to execute when specified data was changed, plus 18 functions called by more than one other Javascript function to do calculations based on values in multiple variables on the form. o Modified required attachment script from ServiceNow community to check for multiple document types, use common functions between CMS and new Service Portal environments and adjust for requirements in both. o Script to get group membership and user groups. Works server side and client side (AJAX). o Work with Multi-Row Variable Sets, Javascript functions to manipulate data in MRVS. o Transforms and inbound actions to convert spreadsheet file data to tables, parse email messages to create Request Items and Tasks.
o CMDB and other data tables to optimize tables and connect data from one table to another. Dispensing Technician/Application & database development Promega Dec. 09-January 19

Write and revise S.O.P. documents and forms used in the department.
Wrote script to facilitate adding printers to workstations throughout the company. Original instructions to obtain the list of company printers were difficult to remember (especially by new employees) unless used several times. This script has been distributed throughout the department where I work, as well as to people in other departments to pass along to co-workers.
