■ I work at the cash register. I check in our guests as they come in to bowl. I start our guests on a tab which they can pay later and if they would like to pay up front they can. I kindly remind them what our prices of the days are and maybe throw in our specialty offers on those certain days we have them. After that, I ask and give them their proper shoe size and send them to their designated lane. If the guest has children and wants the rails up I’ll manually go put them up. Sometimes our lanes will malfunction, once I see what is wrong with it. I will send a message to our mechanic so he knows how to fix it.

■ I work in mold care. I repair molds for the structures of the boats. I learned how to use different chemicals and when and when not to use them. I learned how to rebuild a damaged mold with just putty and gel. After that I’ll clean, seal, and wax the mold, then I send it to lamination. I learned how to use all different types of tools.
