Former construction worker. Worked as a plumber H. E. operator, pipefitter, and mail delivery person. To name a few. I recently gave up watching the NFL just to see if I could. Proud dad of 7 children. Six of whom are adopted and have special needs. I am married to a nurse who plays piano like an angel. I play bass in a band with two of my sons. As a son of a pastor, I have compassion for people and strive to treat everyone with respect. Always trying to get a smile from people.

LABORER TO PIPEFITTER TO SUPERVISOR OF FOB IN IRAQ.

KELLOGG B&R

Began as fire watch, warehouse bagger, and pipe fitter helper

while attending Industrial construction classes.

After pipefitter certification, began Journeyman work on the Diana

Project (offshore drilling platform). Followed Diana from

inception, in the Marine yard to completed placement in the Gulf

of Mexico.

Spent 2 years on a FOB in Iraq where I was promoted to

supervisor of the Support services for the US Army.

It was our job to build and maintain all the facilities (housing,

community areas, water provision, waste management as well as

defense and safety structures) for the Army. All processes were

performed while in a war zone, under fire, in danger of life. I was

responsible for all employees of KBR deployed on the FOB,

(HR, scheduling, time keeping, managing transport of employees

in a war zone, procurement, training, development, education and

morale).

Retired from pipefitting to adopt six medically fragile children from foster care. Each child required intense medical care.

With caring family and medical attention, all are thriving.

2017 to present

Formed DMD Builders General Contractors to help our neighbors rebuild from the devastation of hurricane Harvey.
