Delicatessen Manager – Directed a team of 8 – 12 people: training, scheduling, ordering, merchandising, customer service. Assuring department maintained a superior level of cleanliness and sanitation. Produced the first profitable deli in the company’s twenty five year history.

Meat Supervisor - Managing a team of three people – Scheduling, ordering, cleaning, merchandising,

maintaining fill level with an eye to keeping shrink to a minimum.

United Natural Foods Inc., Dayville, CT 10/02 to 10/08

Key Account Manager – Managed relationship with company’s largest client, Whole Foods Markets,

for fifteen stores in Florida. Acted as sole liaison, coordinated pricing, promotions, new items, delivery,

new store openings, and product line. Facilitated resolution as point of contact with vendors, brokers, at Sarasota warehouse and store locations. Produced reports for Regional and National Leadership team, Directors of Operations and Purchasing for the Eastern Region. Innovated policies and systems for maintaining inventory availability. Worked in partnership with the Sarasota warehouse, purchasing, customer service, business analysis, and internal UNFI departments to ensure exceptional service.

Inventory Control Associate – Slotting, accounting, recordkeeping, for every item in the distribution center (averaging 16,000 items). Co-ordinated with various distribution centers, purchasing, and receiving to maintain the highest level of accuracy in accounting for quality, freshness, and prompt delivery of products. Created custom reports for Operations Manager and department heads. Provided

support to other distribution centers as needed to maintain superior level of service.

Fiber Optic Taper Technician - Flawless fabrication of custom designed fused fiber optic technology,

determined magnification of large diameter fiber optic tapers which constituted approximately half of the company’s product offering, translated client specifications to all aspects of milling and grinding

operations through final size. Worked extensively with engineering team to examine manufacturing methods to maximize yields, recorded results in Microsoft Access for Quality Assurance. Interfaced with

various departments through product completion.
