ASG Inc supporting USCIS 11/2022 – Present

Senior Scrum Master

ASDOV Program

Managed two AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) teams under the VIPER Project for USCIS

(US Government). These projects involved the development of an Automated Realtime Global Organization Specialist (ARGOS – ASDOV Program) and the development of an updated Machine Learning Model Service (JARVIS - VIPER). ARGOS is used for risk-scoring companies that are under scrutiny by the management program analyst, under the Verification branch of USCIS. The AI/ML providing risk scores

(similarity scores) based off of user profiles.

• Led the program in organizing and planning for the PI Planning

• Scheduled and facilitated Refinement meetings Sprint planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and retrospectives.

• Helped organize Scrum Masters’ community of practice.

• Helped train and mentor junior Scrum Masters.

• Worked closely with the Business Analyst and Product Owner to make sure the backlog was organized, and the team goals were aligned with the business goals.

Scrum Master

The project involved updates to web systems that supported banking products and the development of a money transfer banking application; including GIC, mutual funds, and savings accounts (REXP, TSFA). – We used a standard AWS web deployment architecture with EC2 as the Servers, connected to S3 buckets

(Amazon Web Service managed object storage systems) as file storage and Database through AWS MySQL RDS hosted in the Virtual Private Cloud in the US east 1 (AWS VPC). We used NOD.JS for back end and HTML, CSS, Java Script.

• Facilitated the introduction, adoption, implementation, and sustainability of Agile methodology and processes, principles, and practices within the organization.

• Tracked and communicated team velocity and other development metrics to all involved and management.

• Supported product owners with grooming, refining, and maintaining product backlogs.
