Trim off the tops and limbs of trees, using chainsaws, delimbers, or axe
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as cling, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
Exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Repair machines or systems using the needed tools.
Determine the proper kind of tools and equipment needed for job function and have all tools ready before they start doing the job.
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Often the Faller is already in the process of cutting down the tree and must act swiftly.
Trouble shooter that can determine the causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it in an instant.

Operates single axle and tandem truck to haul maintenance materials to and from job sites, apply salt and plow snow. Operates front end loader to load trucks with maintenance materials and salt.
