Forklift Operator
Receive, move, and distribute material throughout the warehouse
Store materials, documenting inventory and pulling items for production or shipping
Ensure machine, equipment, and components receive proper maintenance, clean, recharge, etc.
Material Handling:
Attach tags to containers, mark for identifying information, read work orders and received oral instructions for material and equipment needed for work assignments.
Record numbers of units handled and moved. Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment. Saw Operation:
Determine roughness
Use required measurement to determine the cut
Finished results should have smooth appearance
Shipping and Receiving:
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
