This group of 109 people, included disciplines in Software, Component selection, custom IC design, and Electronic Hardware design. Department budget of $33 million. The group worked very closely with Industrial and Mechanical Engineering departments to produce cost effective consumer home video systems. The products were designed to interface to NTSC, PAL, and SECAM TV standards. I personally designed the video interface circuits for the three TV standards. The results of the efforts of the engineering group and the entire staff were to bring corporate sales to an all time high of $2.4 billion per year.
