As the Church Ministry manager, I’m building the capacity of the urban Angel Tree Christmas Program - churches to engage their Angel Tree children in year-round ministry, to make measurable impacts in their lives. I broker partnerships between Churches and Nonprofits: Collaborate w/Partnerships Manager and community nonprofits to craft a mutually beneficial partnership in their communities. I am currently, contributing to the Creation of the Pilot City Profile: Collaborate w/Angel Tree Program team members to help identify pertinent information for the effective creation of a strategy for church partners in that locale. I am currently, Facilitate Data Collection: Facilitate the system of data collection from the Angel Tree churches to measure impact. I attend Church Events and Church Conferences: Travel opportunities to deepen relationships with and knowledge of partner churches including attending major events of a church when in town, remaining responsive to inquiries and requests for help, and consistently communicating Prison Fellowship announcements and deadlines. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Alternative Sentencing Program (ASP) provides services utilized to implement sentencing options for adult and juvenile offenders who cannot afford a fine or for whom more costly and punitive traditional sentences of fine, incarceration and/or probation appear inappropriate. Christ Chapel Ministries contracts with the Sheriff's Office ASP to provide an opportunity for adults to fulfill their community service hours mandated by the traffic court.
I supervise a team (Participants) which range from 4-22 adult participants referred weekly. I assign tasks and provide close monitoring of each participant's task assignments and behaviors. Provide coaching and professional development to each participant. Create and maintain weekly daily attendance records. Provide attendance records to the ASP staff weekly or upon request. Report any participant issues to the ASP staff. Provide timely and accurate reporting of participant hours for review and approval. The Child Trafficking Response Unit provides technical guidance and support to counties, who have opted-in to the newly created Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Program. As a Senior Analyst, I provided oversight, coaching and empowerment of new staff - onboarding and training. As lead, I was responsible for analyzing Federal and State legislation interpretation, development and implementation of state policies and stakeholder management. Facilitate workgroups (Small and large) and annual state-wide county site visits to ensure child welfare agencies are providing quality service delivery as required via Senate Bill 855. Provides counties and stakeholders with technical assistance and guidance via email correspondence and webinars - increase of knowledge and awareness of the Program. As lead Analyst/Event planner for January National Awareness Month - organize annual awards ceremony, film screening, trainings, create poster billboards and Adobe designs (Program booklets, Pamphlets, designs and fact sheet templates). I prepared written reports, local governmental presentation, draft and disseminate All County Letters/All County Information Notices to counties and stakeholders. As lead Contract Manager, I provided full oversight and monitoring responsibilities for the CSEC Program contracts. Conducted on-going outreach and engaged tenants. Through this process, I provided case management, job-readiness training, and daily assessments. Facilitated weekly workshops: Resume writing, conflict resolution and interview techniques to obtain self-sufficiency and empower tenants.
