For over 28+ years, I have worked with residential and commercial clients helping them create and achieve their renovation goals whether it be a custom kitchen and bath to a complete home remodel.

As an experienced project manager and design consultant I have extensive experience with all aspects of a renovation project, from reading blueprints to working with the construction teams to interfacing and communications with the client/owner.

Design

Interiors including color palettes, fabrics, window treatments, flooring, lighting, furniture selection and placement etc.

Exteriors including landscaping, pool and recreational areas, exterior lighting etc.

Custom floorplan design of kitchens, baths, or entire houses.

Custom designs for cabinetry, furniture etc.

Renovation

Knowledgeable of all aspects of the construction/renovation process from demolition through punchout.

Blueprint reading and understanding

Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the renovation team including architects, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, site resources etc.

Knowledgeable of building codes and inspection requirements helping to ensure that all work is done to quality standards.

Project Management

Develop estimates, specifications, schedules, budgets and track and report status on a regular basis.

Daily communication and direction to construction teams, overseeing their work on site as needed.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams as needed for problem solving or issue resolution.

Review and feedback/approval on proposals and contracts with clientele/owners

Assure all change control orders are effectively communicated to the appropriate teams.

Client Interfacing

Handle all aspects of client interfacing including finalizing design decisions, reviewing contracts, conducting walkthroughs and reviews of the completed projects, frequent status/update communications etc.

Assure all change control requests are well documented and understood.

Handle all client issues/concerns to assure high client satisfaction,

Business Management

I am responsible for developing new clients and revenue opportunities and for maintaining a profitable business. This requires a competency in all aspects of small business management. Ideal Concepts also provides monthly home

management services for clients who are not in permanent residence, or who want a professional management service to handle all their maintenance
