I worked as a construction safety officer as a consultant for the MBTA in Boston, Massachusetts. I was responsible for enforcing OSHA 1926.29, 1910.28,22 CFR regulations and standards in the building construction process while working at various MBTA maintenance facilities. I communicated with the superintendent and foremen to ensure all trades people were working in a safe and healthy environment. In addition, I completed work orders involving safety tasks throughout the construction project site to expedite the construction process. The tasks were to ensure the site is following OSHA, EPA and DOT standards and regulations while construction was in progress.

In addition, I worked on an array of environmental projects overseeing confined space, air sampling, biological monitoring, soil and water sampling and respiratory protection. I performed industrial hygienist tasks on various construction projects to ensure workers protection.

In addition, I worked for various biotechnology companies in dispensary, media, and cell culture departments. I followed SOPs to avoid deviations in the cell culture production process in a clean room environment. I worked in the production area inspecting and calibrating different laboratory equipment. I was also part of the safety team in removing caustic acid, checking pressure gauges on the CIP and SIP process piping, eyewash stations, spill-kits, fire extinguishers. I also performed change-outs to avoid cross contamination to switch to new drug production.
