Objective

I have been retired for about ** months from working in the chemical industry for over 50 years. I feel that I have a few more years to give to be a working member of society. I am still an active person looking for a part-time or full-time position that can utilize my skills in some way enhance the performance of a business.

Since I have retired, I have worked several part time jobs in the retail, food and package delivery business. In the meantime, I have also tutored students in math and chemistry. During my school years I have exceled in mathematics and chemistry

Experience

1972-2018

I have worked many jobs throughout my career, from a process engineer, to a production engineer, to supervisory positions and ending up as an hourly operator in the oil refining business. I have led process teams to improve process performance, supervised hourly operator in the safe and efficient operations of many different chemical processes, led other technical personnel in dealing with process upsets, and finally operated computerized control systems to safely operate and control the operations of several plant processes
