Install circuit breaker and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical system, equipment, and other components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance.
Advance management on wether conteneud operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools. Trace out short circuits in wiring using test meter. Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand tools and power tools.
Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connection using hand tools. Feed and route cable within control center, destruction boxes, receptacles, switches, fire protection etc. Splice terminate wires at junction points.
Wiring new structures, both commercial and residential, installing electrical meters for measuring usage. Coordinating with specialized electricians for specific electrical task. Education
