Major Responsibilities:

(a)Responsible for Customer Service

(b)Explain to the prospective Customers about the details of schemes of the bank.

(c)Filling in customer Information form, account opening form along with the copies and organize of all relevant documents for Customer identifications.

(d)Assisting the customer in opening of the account after the approval of the correctness of the forms and documents from the CSO /BM.

(e)Taking the photograph of customer, opening of the account, uploading the photographs and signature.

(f)Managing the operation of the account with timely and accurate data entry.

(g)Replying to all queries of the customers courteously.

Preparation of details, reports and other information’s as and when called by CSO /BM.

(a)Verification of identity of the customer remitting the amount as per the AML and KYC procedures

(c)Maintain the record chronologically

(d)Follow up for payment and reimbursement as the case may be

Reconciliation of transactions and account with Western Union periodically

Head Teller with other tellers working under him is responsible for cash management of the Branch

Cash Management includes.

oPhysical cash in vault, in personal possession during the banking hours or in transit for lodgment /withdrawal.

oMovement of cash within the branch premises

oAccounts maintained with other banks like DAB

oMaintaining the cash to the bare minimum based on the average requirement.

Holding the cash in vault with joint custody with the BM by the Head Teller

Taking out minimum required cash from the vault and distribute to other tellers .

Maintain the long book and other relevant records by all the tellers including Head Tellers.

Physical counting of cash in respect of receipt and payments twice including manually so as to ascertaining the notes are genuine.

Making payments and deposits following strictly the operational guidelines such as verification of identity, signature and approval of the overriding authority of the branch CSO/BM as required

Following up remittance and timely response to the reversal of entries of remittance in transit, BCs upon confirmation.

Regular reconciliation of entries of accounts maintained with other banks.

Maintain all security measures in sale keep of all items kept under clef custody with proper records.

Maintain security within the cash cabins and exercise alertness during business hours for the safety of cash.

Verify all vouchers with the cash journals and tally the cash individually before amalgamation and make final verification of total cash.
