Main role was to manage several large health plan implementations and software enhancement requests related to the company’s growing client base. Sr. PM for Test Data Management team which was responsible for developing new strategy for harvesting, manufacturing, and virtualizing test data for enterprise applications.

Led a Vendor Evaluation project which evaluated several major TDM vendors (K2View, Informatica, Delphix, etc.) on their capabilities to solve Charles Schwab business needs using Excel, Confluence and Powerpoint presentations.

Contract Project Manager / Scrum Master

TEKsystems, Minneapolis, MN

Scrum Master for two remote software development teams with the OEM line of business for the company. The OEM business is providing PACCAR Solutions with a portal for managing truck performance. One project was to update software on devices that were installed in thousands of trucks using our software.

Our main products were for monitoring engine and maintenance issues for large truck manufacturers via devices installed in those trucks. Our products were deployed in all North American Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks and Cummins engines. We pushed our microservices application updates via AWS Cloud services.

One team also worked on Single Sign-On with using an IdP (Auth0 Identity Provider) and upgrading our logging capabilities.

Symphony Corporation, Madison WI Dec 2016 – Aug 2017

Led several software development efforts involving the USDA. These projects were fast paced with many changes. The project team was involved with converting years of Crop data plus designed a web portal (Front-end) application. My role was to lead the UX design with the end client. The team used .Net architecture, SQL Server and Team Foundation Services for maintaining our user stories and backlog. The team maintained our Kanban and Burndown charts in TFS. Project budget was just under $2 million for the conversion and portal development.

Also led successful migration of companies Salesforce CRM and MS Dynamics CRM to MS Dynamics 365 (SaaS).

Schneider National, Green Bay, WI May 2016 – Nov 2016

Contract Project Manager / Scrum Master

Led the web-based Carrier portal data analytic software development project for Schneider National. Schneider built two dashboard analytical applications for their Bulk and Freight brokerage business. The Broker portal merged data from enterprise-wide transportation system and MercuryGate with several sources into several interactive pages. Drilldown capability was provided by load, by route, and commodity. UX design scrum team had to be coordinated with large (12-15 people) development team.

Served as Scrum Master on several 2016 software initiatives by using Jira and Clarity tools.

Developed the Capability Matrix and MVP deliverables for both initiatives. The IT department used a modified SAFe framework model.

Offshore and onshore resources from several vendors were part of the development teams.

Led Sprint Planning and retrospectives on both initiatives.

Helped drive the customization of Benefits Administration System and new interfaces with legacy systems. Agile methodology was employed for BAS project.

Provided project status and updated project plans on a routine basis.

Coordinated hardware requests with Department of Administration infrastructure teams.

Managed development of interfaces with outside healthcare vendors and conversion of existing data for the new modules.

Managed the PeopleSoft HCM (Time & Labor, Payroll & Absence Management) with Financials for cost allocations (GL, AP, Purchasing & Commitment Control), and budgeting which included custom software development. The Department of Labor (DOL) was the agency that was transitioned from a custom legacy application.

Helped drive the customization of allocations for Federal/State reporting requirements for DOL.

Gather requirements and led development of Data Warehouse reporting (Cognos) for DOL.

Provided dashboard reporting to steering committee and overall State Accounting management.

Custom reporting was developed for State of GA labor statistics, and government grants for unemployment.

Ciber Mar 2010 – Sept 2014

Project Manager / Scrum Master

Contracted to provide business analysis and Agile project management for an application isolation project due to a mining client divesture for a global client in Denver.

Directed project resources which developed requirements and technical specifications. The project used Ciber’s methodology for the project which also met the requirements for the client.

Drove the development of project plans, estimates, and monitored the overall project progress. The technical team was responsible for creating a new network and related infrastructure with global resources. Daily scrums were conducted to ensure development was on track.

Conducted weekly status meetings with representatives from the client and Ciber.

Managed one project budget of $1M for a new Health & Safety web application.
