Drilling and Workover Supervisor for Kuwait Oil Company – I was the only Company man on location. Drilled 10 wells from single pads. All wells were directional.

I was a Drilling & Completions Engineer and I supported operations in West Texas (Drilling). Unconventional resources, lateral length - 5,000' - 7,500'. Also, I supported operations in East Texas horizontal project, ~1500’ lateral length.

I worked as a Completions / Remedial Engineer and as an Operations Drilling Engineer and supported all aspects of workover operations in East TX, Panhandle, Oklahoma, Kansas and drilling & completion operations in Wyoming and Colorado. Workover projects: recompletions, fracturing, flowback, replacing tubing, replacing rods and rod pumps, replacing ESPs, plugging and abandoning, etc.

As a Drill Site Manager, I supervised drilling/workover/completion operations onshore in Tengiz and Korolev fields in Kazakhstan and offshore on Gulf of Thailand.

In Kazakhstan type of operations included drilling wells with large land rig and completing them as a single completion to 5500m (~18,000 ft). All wells were vertical. The high pressure, sour gas environment. Utilized mud cap drilling technology to drill through a severe loss circulation zones. Workover operations included replacing tubing, milling and recovering packers, sidetracking, deepening.

In Thailand I worked offshore on jackup rig, all wells were directional (development and exploratory). Batch drilled 16 wells from a platform. Depth of the wells were 12,000 ft with high temperature. Completion types were Mono-trip gas lift and standard monobore. Work included various types of drilling fluids.

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS

10 years of experience as a Drilling/Completions/Workover Engineer for major company.

More than 10 years of experience as a Drill/Well site manager.

Drilled deep vertical wells in high pressure, sour gas environment. Utilized mud cap technology. Deepened old wells to high pressure sour gas horizons. Drilled directional wells from one platform in factory drilling environment and simultaneous operations.

Designed drilling programs for vertical, directional and horizontal wells. Utilized landmark software to design well programs.

Utilized Risk assessment process to identify hazards prior to drilling wells as well as during operations.

Completion of wells including fracturing and flowback operations.

Workover and P&A programs.

Experience to decrease operation costs.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Drilling & Completions Engineer. Successfully completed drilling part of 13 wells in two different projects, up to 7,500’ laterals. Achieved savings - 5.5% of planned cost. Achieved average 8% savings of planned cost on responsible workover projects. Successfully completed drilling part of 2 wells in East Texas Horizontal Project. 1500’ lateral length. Achieved savings - 8% of planned cost and 2 days less than planned.

Completion/Remedial Engineer. Worked with 10 production engineers to support workover operations in East TX, Panhandle TX, Oklahoma & Kansas. Achieved incident free operations for all projects and 3-5% savings of planned cost. I was replaced by three engineers, helped them to transition in short period of time.

Operations Drilling Engineer. Successfully designed and supported operations in Wyoming and Colorado. Achieved savings - 9% of planned cost.

Successfully performed in each project as a Drill/Well Site Manager.
