Research Assistantship

• I worked as a Research Assistant in a project called NSF-Weather Forecasting In this project we predicted the weather attributes like Relative Humidity, Temperature, Wind Speed, and Pressure for every minute.

• This prediction was done using Python with Machine Learning We used some previous year's datasets, from these some attributes are considered and used to train the models, which predicts the future attributes as mentioned above.

• Creation of Web4Notes using PHP, JS, CS, and HTML (Mini), The Mini project is about the creation of Web4Notes using PHP, JS, CSS, and HTML. This project aimed to design an online file-sharing website where users can upload files and other users can download them. Web4Notes eliminates the need for constant physical inquiries, this saves a lot of time for both the students and the faculties. It can be accessed from anywhere, any time with the help of an internet connection and web browser. Hence planned to develop this system using PHP for the front end and MySQL as the Back End.

• Fake Profile Detection Using Deep Learning, My Major project is about Fake Profile Detection Using Deep Learning. In this, I had come up with an ingenious way to detect fake accounts on OSNs by using Convolutional Neural Network to its full extent, which limited the manual prediction of a fake account, which needed a lot of human resources and time- a consuming process. I used stable factors such as engagement rate and artificial activity to increase the accuracy of the prediction. In this process, while detecting fake accounts we selected profiles and collected attributes of some users such as friends, common friends, etc. On these data sets, we did data processing, tokenization, and data cleaning. Then we trained the data with a classifier and used CNN to determine whether the profile was fake or real.
